Texas A&M offers a wide range of computing services to students, faculty and staff, such as Help Desk Central, a 24-hour telephone help-line and walk-in service, and Techdocs, which provides easy access to helpful information and assistance on topics ranging from how to use computing resources (email, personal websites, open access labs), to quick-start guides for various software packages, to keeping computers safe from viruses. At the Software Evaluation and Licensing Library, faculty and staff can purchase software licenses at reduced costs. The Trans-Texas Videoconference Network staff provides videoconference scheduling and facilitation services, user and technical support, and video streaming.
